July 27th Beta v2 - 2.1
Huzzah, this update is a huge one as people will be able to learn attacks they want to learn.
Let's talk about TM Shop and the Egg Shop. These two new stores are located inside of the Dojo. Now you are wondering how do I buy an Egg or TM? Do they use Pokedollars? They do not. That you use to buy the Eggs and TMs are Dojo Points. To get the Dojo Points you must beat a round of each Dojo trial, the harder the trial the higher the points you receive. Now remember, the TMs work the same way they do in the Pokemon games, they are 1 use only, you can only use it if you are able to learn that particular attack, and they are tradable.
All Pokemon up to Gen 3 will now to drop their eggs. So there are more Pokemon that you can hatch and stuff. Hunt down Pokemon and try to get their eggs, mwuahaha. Oh except for Slakoth ofcourse, don't want people to be able to use a Slaking without it's ability.
Now onto the topic of attacks, There are 2 new attacks added, these attacks are Tri Attack and Drill Peck. Attacks that have been modified are Egg Bomb by increasing the range by 1. Heal Pulse and Refresh both have had their CDs lowered by 1. All Multi Hit attacks have been fixed as well, now they are able to hit all at the same power of the 1st hit. Before let's say you used Double Slap and it hit for 3 times, the 1st attack would be at full power and the other 2 would be 1/2 of the 1st hit. This has been fixed so all of the 3 hits will be the same as the 1st one.
Other important news. Pokemon that are level 20 and lower will now receive a Natural EXP Boost, meaning that they will be leveling faster from killing Wild Pokemon. More EXP changes include the PARTY EXP BOOST, being in a party will no longer hurt you or your allies. There is no DIVIDING of the EXP everyone will get the full 100% or more depending on the size of your party, if you are in a party of 2 you'd get 100%, party of 3 110%, party of 4 120%.
The MP Formula has also been redone again. The new formula is almost identical to the original till a point of certain high speed Pokemon still receive more MP then all the others, such as Ninjask. And talking about walking, the Wild Pokemon outside of battles have been fixed so they would not be double stepping around.

Re: July 27th Beta v2 - 2.1
You're partially wrong about how TMs work in the pokemon games; they have infinite usage and cannot be traded from gen 5 and onward.
Another thing; the disabling of slakoth is completely unnecessary. Slaking's base attack is /barely/ 150. His base health is a pitiful 100. All of his other stats are entirely lackluster and in the standard Pokemon games, everybody gets rid of his ability on the first turn with some sort of setup move. His terrible base speed is disabling enough.
By the way, Kang still charges a RIDICULOUS 100 poke per item withdrawal for some reason. When are you going to fix that?
I really like the Dojo Points system and the two shops, especially with the addition of Thunder Wave and Thunderbolt as tms. I might eventually work up enough for a Kecleon egg.
I also really like the new party exp system. Now I can actually train when I join a party. I don't think I noticed the "double stepping" thing you're talking about. Was this a bug that slipped over my head?

We took how they work from gen 4 and lower :c
And with the Double Stepping, yes some reason some Pokemon would do like a double step almost as if they were teleporting around

Are you sure that wasn't just server lag?Kentaro wrote:We took how they work from gen 4 and lower :c

We're not going to give players infinite Tm uses. We're going to have them use up once, and be able to sell / trade them.
Slaking has over 400 hp, 400 attack, great def and sp.def and 4 mp (No weak points statistically) and in my personal book, so no thanks.
I agree with the withdrawal fees, I think we should do something more like 10 pokes.

Gen 5 TMs would be pretty terrible in this context anyways
