Is there really only a 0.0001% egg drop rate? :C

I guess if we ever want to be successful at farming we really just have to wait for a increased drop rate event... kinda feel like killing all those thousands of Rattatas was all for nothing, but oh well. I shall never give up! c:<

Monty, I know that feeling, i've been farming Krabby for god knows how long now, trying to get an egg, to be honest, I'd be happy if they put eggs in a sale or something, for like poke dollars, each town has eggs that you can purchase, that'll act like a drop with a random nature, in each town for the pokemon surrounding the town and such.

Yeah, good idea Zilo. It's terribly frustrating farming knowing the incredible miniscule chance of even obtaining an egg. A key part of what makes Pokemon Pokemon is the collecting, but I guess that's not really what's intended for this game since it was made to be played from a Pokemon's perspective and less of a Pokemon Trainer. Still, It'd sure be nice if there was a higher drop rate of eggs so we could play more as our favorite pokemon.

The low drop rate just makes the eggs more special, and is meant to make diversity. If you could simply buy them or something like that then there would simply be dozens of the same pokemon as people tend to flock to the stronger ones. This way people will be more likely to play as more varied pokemon. At least thats my spin on it. However, putting them in the dojo for a fairly work towards goal of djps like the eggs in there is another story all together. Because that still supports team work and having a character capable of such feats.

And yet in another topic you stated there are no weak pokemon. Rattata and the like shouldn't have to be hard work to obtain if they're incredibly abysmal, they should be as common as lawn grass. But I guess that's being too opinionated towards pokes. They all ought to be treated equal even though they all flow in definite tiers of what's shit and what's good, we might as well just make them all equally as hard to find anyways!

...NVM, I give up. Until this game adds more eggs to the Dojo or changes egg drop rates for appropriately for each pokemon, I'm sticking to starter pokes, at least for a while. -_-

EDIT: Okay, ,maybe I'm just discouraged and frustrated by the unlikely chances of egg drops, but I don't want to give up on finding a good Rattata egg. If it means waiting for a drop increase event, so be it.

Nowhere in my post did I say that any pokemon was weak, I simply stated that more players would stick to pokemon with better equipped movepools. Regardless, you can make any pokemon work awesome in Z if you play it right. One thing tho, just farming eggs all day is a good way to be quickly disappointed, the chances of getting one that way quickly arent very high. It will usually be totally random.

Yeah imo the rates make the Pokémon special/unique. Like me rollin' around with a muhfukn Gyarados and other people runnin' around with Teddiursa and Sneasal. But yeah at the same time it's really hard to get one ;~; But if you put your time into it and get a Pokémon that no one else has and you can use for as long as you want, then isn't that cool and worth it?

Yeah, I guess... I think Raticate, by that definition, has been taken. What's to say I can't be original with a starter pokemon though? Can't say I've seen many Wigglytuffs in this game...

All starters have been played at some point this wipe, just a bunch of the older players have gone M.I.A. But ugh... I can say some pokemon that aren't taken (y'know until someone proves me wrong)

Theres a few Spearows floating around. Be first or second doesn't really make much difference. It's about trying to be the best at what you got.

Having a personal Blissey nurse follow me around like a mystery dungeon partner is nothing but one more dream for Dream Eater to crush.
