I been doing some grinding to level up to prepare for my next area. At first I thought it was just the difference you receive when you party with others and that is why it seemed off even though before you could easily see what the split would be between 2 or 3 people in a party. However, I just now killed a pokemon by myself that gave me 4008 exp and on the results screen I received only 3000 and something. I don't know if the exp event is bugged or maybe there is an issue with exp at the moment in general but I should see the same number as the result screen like all other times should I not? Or is it that the result screen is simply not showing the additional exp we are recieving from the event which is what I am thinking is the case! Regardless, I thought I would just bring it up in case.

No, there is no bug. It's currently the EXP 1.5x And Drop Event; it displays what you WOULD have gotten on the results screen but what you DID get in battle.
