I really want this back already. Stealing souls with The Seal of Orichalcos and wrecking face with Slifer the Sky Dragon gets old after a while.

Also, I hope Goldeen gets made some time. That and Megahorn and Waterfall. Because fuckyeahseaking

I miss this game alot... and I never got to beat Mamoswine in the ice cave before it went down. >.<

Never got to use my eevee egg T_T but either way if we have a wipe ill be cool XD as long as there are new pokes to get and at least 1 of each type of starters

Or or or hopefully seeing one of each starter Pokemon that Z has to offer being used by the players, creating a variety of unique players (rather than the most probable outcome, an army of Riolu's, and the few misfits that pick something UU to try to stand out from the herd)

If there actually was a wipe, which there won't be, I'd just pick Budew again. Having Toxic as a level up move once you've evolved into Roselia is a godsend in boss fights. Those otherwise frustrating fights become much more feasible to win knowing that as long as someone sticks around long enough for Toxic to KO...

Welp, if there was a wipe (which i'm totally up for, as mentioned before), I think I'd go with Magby, although that would probably be a wasteful starter I guess, as I'd like to eventually be playing as a Charizard again

Ah wells, if not Magby, then i'm left with Pichu or Elekid (probably go with Elekid, as I've already played Pichu to Raichu twice.

lol what i meant by more type of starters was like have one of each type for a starter ,like add a ghost starter,steel starter and so on like we should be able to pick one from each type in the game  or have a Random egg that can be any pokemon that is coded in the game

Hm... I can't see such a thing as a random egg allowing you to grab any Pokemon coded in game happening, like ugh... if that was in, we can say goodbye to having to grind or work for good pokes (inb4 spam remake for Larvi eggs. inb4 a herd of Tyranitars)

But still, I too like the idea of having more types added to the starter choices, even if its just one of each type (of course still including the starters that are already here, as they are awesome, and I want Ponty to be a flower forever)

I think a Steel type starter would be too good... it's the best defensive type, not to mention poison immunity which helps in pretty much every quest area. The only hiccup youd ever encounter is the volcano maybe. Otherwise every other area would be too easy as you basically resist most common attacks.

Besides, I like the baby pokemon theme with starters, I doubt there will be more starters unless they're new baby pokemon.

EDIT: Oh, silly me. We already have a over powered steel type starter, at least after it evolves; Lucario.

A steel type starter wouldn't/doesn't have to be too good, you just choose carefully who can be validated as a starter Pokemon, in terms of their potential e.t.c.

For example, a starter steel type could be Mawile, hasn't got much potential in anything in a game that functions the way PZ does, and so on.

Welp thats my thoughts on it, unless there has to be a theme going on where each starter must be able to evolve into another Pokemon or something, than Mawile is out of the question

Aside from that, the logic can be applied to all types & pokemon for starters, imo.

Well, if we wanted to have fairness with starter Pokemon, I would take away Riolu, Happiny, and Munchlax. The three of these starters are particularly of greater "potential" then the rest. In fact, it leaves little reason to pick any other starter unless they have a unique move or two that they will learn that make them somewhat worthwhile. e.g. Budew gets Toxic as Roselia, Smoochum will get Lovely Kiss as Jynx, etc.

So, Mawile COULD be a starter pokemon, but the odds of someone choosing it over Riolu or even any other obviously superior option isn't that good.

If there's any pokemon I'd like to see as a starter Pokemon... it'd be Rattata. Just because it and it's evolution Raticate is one of the most unqiue Pokemon, it's move Super Fang was the only normal type move not resisted by Ghost in the Gen 1 games. Rattata was actually the only starter Pokemon for Pokemon Rumble too. It's not really a "high potential" Pokemon, but it'd be neat to see some other annoying rat running around besides the many Pikachus seen on PZ.

I agree about Riolu, was actually thinking about Riolu not being a starter Pokemon during my typing in my last post, but figured I wouldn't mention it. 

Although I don't really know what to say about Happiny, and Munchlax... like they usually serve their own unique roles as a starter type, in a game that wants people to use party to advance to areas e.t.c.

And yeah, Rattata was the starter Pokemon for Rumble, would be nice to see him in the starter line up.

Would totally pick Mawile as my starter, steel types ftw!

 (although it'd be really cruddy without egg moves or an updated move-list such as Gen 6 list with newly added moves. Like seriously guys, you don't know how bad this Pokemon is until you've played it in this game, after area 1 & 2, you go from being the hero in your team, to that one guy who is holding the team back from progressing at a faster rate)

this is my old idea, which includes gen 5 pokes, but i guess gen 5 ranger game never came so this wouldnt become possible xD

my criteria in this was:
have 3 evolutions, no exceptions
have only 1 type (few exceptions as there are no pure flying types ect)
have total stats around 500 on final evo
avoid original starters (treecko and totodile still got in xD)
